Manage Review Platforms for a Location

Connect, disconnect, and re-scan the review platforms feeding into an existing location.

Before you start

  • You have already added the location. If not, see Add a location →.
  • You are on the Locations page (the default view after logging in).

Steps

1. Open the Sources sheet for your location

On the Locations page, find the location card. Click the row of platform logos near the bottom of the card — the logos that are greyed out are not yet connected. This opens the Review Sources sheet on the right (or as a bottom sheet on mobile).

2. Connect a new platform

Find the platform row showing — Not connected. Paste your business listing URL into the input field (e.g. yelp.com/biz/your-restaurant), then click Connect. A "Connected" badge appears when the connection succeeds and reviews begin syncing.

Tip: If you are not sure of the URL, use Detect platforms or Re-scan (step 4) first — the sheet may suggest it for you.

3. Disconnect a platform

On a connected platform row, click Disconnect. An inline Are you sure? prompt appears. Click Disconnect again to confirm, or Cancel to go back. The platform reverts to — Not connected.

Warning: Disconnecting stops review syncing for that platform immediately. Existing reviews already synced are not deleted.

4. Detect or re-scan platforms

At the bottom of the sheet, click Detect platforms to let the system search for your business listings automatically. If you have already run a scan and want fresh results, click Re-scan instead — this clears the cached results and runs a new search.

After a scan completes, unconnected platform rows show detected candidates. For a single match, click Use to copy the URL into the input field, then click Connect. For multiple candidates, click the URL that matches your location to select it, then click Connect.

Note: Detect platforms requires a Google-linked location. Manually added locations (not from Google Maps search) do not support auto-detection.

5. Check last sync time

On any connected platform row, the last sync timestamp is shown below the listing URL (e.g. Last synced 4 minutes ago). No action is required — syncing runs automatically.

6. Close the sheet

Click Close at the bottom of the sheet, or press Escape.

What you'll see when it's done

Each connected platform row shows a green Connected badge and a last sync timestamp. The platform logos on the location card are fully coloured (not greyed out) for every connected platform.

Common issues

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix | |---|---|---| | Connect button stays disabled / shows "URL required" | URL field is empty | Paste your business listing URL first | | "Connection failed" toast | URL is invalid or the platform could not subscribe | Verify the URL opens the correct business page, then try again | | "Detection failed" toast | Network error during scan | Wait a moment and click Re-scan | | Detect platforms and Re-scan are greyed out | Location was added manually (no Google place ID) | Paste the URL directly into the platform input field | | Platform shows Connected but last sync says "Never synced" | Subscription is new; first sync has not run yet | Wait up to 2 minutes for the first sync to complete |
