Add a Location to Your Workspace

Add a business location to Loops AI and connect its review platforms — Yelp, TripAdvisor, Google, Facebook, OpenTable, and more — in a single guided flow. Once activated, reviews from all connected platforms sync automatically.

Before you start

  • You'll need the name (or address) of the business you want to track.
  • If the business isn't on Google Maps, you can add it manually — see Manual entry below.

Steps

1. Open the Add Location drawer

On the Locations page, click Add Location. A panel slides in from the right (or opens from the bottom on mobile).

2. Find your business

Type the business name or address in the search field. Predictions appear as you type.

Click a result to see a confirmation card showing the business photo, name, address, rating, and category. If this is the right place, click Continue.

Tip: You can select multiple locations before continuing — see Adding multiple locations at once.

3. Connect your review platforms

Loops AI automatically scans for your business's listings on Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, OpenTable, and DoorDash. Each platform shows one of these states:

  • Confirmed match — a listing was found and pre-selected. Click Confirm to accept it, or Use different URL if it's wrong.
  • Multiple matches — two or more candidates were found. Select the correct one from the list; each shows the business name, address, rating, and review count.
  • No match found — paste your listing URL directly into the field. Use the Open [Platform] ↗ link to find it in a new tab without losing your place.

Google is always connected automatically and doesn't require any action.

You can skip any platform by clicking Skip for now — you can always connect it later from the location card.

Note: If you paste a URL and it doesn't match the business name you searched, an amber warning appears. Review it and confirm if it's correct.

When you're done, click Continue.

4. Review and activate

A summary screen shows the location and all the platforms you've connected (and skipped). Check that everything looks right.

Click Activate Location. Loops AI creates your location and begins syncing reviews from all connected platforms.

Warning: Don't close the panel while activation is in progress — a prompt will warn you if you try. If you close early, the location is still created but some platform connections may be incomplete. You can finish connecting platforms from the location card.

5. Confirm the location is live

The drawer closes and a confirmation toast appears. Your new location appears on the Locations page, showing the platform logos for everything connected. Greyed-out logos indicate platforms that aren't connected yet.

The initial review sync usually completes within 2 minutes.

What you'll see when it's done

Your location card shows:

  • Business name, address, and category
  • Average star rating and total review count across all platforms
  • Platform logos — color for connected, greyed-out for not connected
  • A "+N more" label if you have more than three platforms connected

Clicking the platform logo area opens the Sources panel, where you can add, disconnect, or re-scan platforms for that location at any time.

Adding multiple locations at once

You can add up to 20 locations in a single batch.

In Step 2 (Find your business), check the box next to each result you want to add instead of clicking through to the confirmation card. A Selected locations list builds at the bottom of the panel. When you're ready, click Add N to list and then Continue.

Loops AI scans all selected locations for platform matches in parallel. Each location has its own platform detection — connecting a Yelp listing to one location does not apply it to the others.

Step 3 shows a separate platform connection section for each location. Step 4 shows a per-location summary before you activate all of them at once.

If one location fails during activation, the others still complete. The toast tells you how many succeeded and how many failed.

Manual entry — business not on Google Maps

If your search returns no results, a Can't find it? Add manually link appears below the search field (visible after you've typed at least 3 characters).

Click it to enter the business name, address (optional), and city. The flow continues to Step 3 (Connect platforms) exactly as normal — Loops AI uses the name and city to search for matching listings.

Note: Manually added locations don't include Google reviews, since they aren't linked to a Google Maps listing.

Common issues

| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix | |---|---|---| | A platform shows no match and you can't find the URL | The listing may be under a different name or not exist on that platform | Skip it — you can connect it later once you have the correct URL | | Activation succeeds but a platform shows as not connected | That platform's subscription failed during activation | Click the greyed-out logo on the location card to open Sources and retry | | The location already exists error appears | This business is already in your workspace | The error links to the existing location — no duplicate is created | | You closed the drawer mid-activation | Activation was interrupted | The location was still created; open Sources on the location card to finish connecting platforms |
