How Review Syncing Works

How Loops AI collects reviews from your connected platforms — what triggers a sync, how quickly reviews arrive, and what "connected" means.

Where your reviews come from

Loops AI pulls reviews from seven platforms: Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, DoorDash, OpenTable, and Uber Eats. Every platform you connect shows up as a unified stream in your inbox — no need to check each site separately.

When reviews arrive

For most platforms, new reviews arrive within a few minutes of being posted. When a customer leaves a review on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook, OpenTable, or DoorDash, Loops AI receives it automatically — no action needed on your part.

Uber Eats is the exception: reviews update once per day, so a new review may take up to 24 hours to appear.

What triggers a sync

There are three ways reviews arrive or update in Loops AI:

When you connect a new platform. The moment you connect a platform, Loops AI loads your most recent reviews from that source — up to 100 per platform. This initial load runs in the background and usually completes within a few minutes.

When new reviews are posted. For all platforms except Uber Eats, reviews appear in your inbox within minutes of being posted — no manual action needed.

When you trigger a manual re-scan. You can force a fresh pull from any connected platform at any time — useful if a review seems missing or if you recently responded directly on the platform. See Manage review platforms for a location for steps.

What "connected" means

A platform is connected when Loops AI is actively monitoring it for that specific location. Each connection is per-location — connecting Yelp for your downtown location does not automatically connect it for a second location.

A platform is not connected if you skipped it during onboarding, removed the connection, or if Loops AI could not find a matching listing for your business. Disconnected platforms do not appear in your inbox. You can add or remove connections at any time from your location's sources settings.

Manually re-scanning a platform

To force a fresh pull, go to your location's sources settings and use the re-scan option. For steps, see Manage review platforms for a location.
