Update your name, bio, password, and theme preference, or permanently delete your account from the Profile section of Loops.

Update your name, bio, password, and theme preference, or permanently delete your account from the Profile section of Loops.
Update your profile
Go to Profile → Details (/profile/details).
In the Account details section you can edit:
- Full name — type your updated name and click Save changes.
- Bio — add a short note visible to your teammates, then click Save changes.
Email address is read-only. It is set by your authentication provider and cannot be changed here.
Change your password
Go to Profile → Security (/profile/security).
To set a new password directly:
- Enter your current password in Current password.
- Enter your new password (minimum 8 characters) in New password.
- Repeat it in Confirm new password.
- Click Update password.
To reset via email instead:
- Click Email reset link.
- Check your inbox and follow the link to set a new password.
Switch theme
Go to Profile → Appearance (/profile/appearance).
Choose one of three options by clicking its card:
| Option | Behavior | |--------|----------| | System | Follows your OS preference automatically. | | Light | Always uses the light theme. | | Dark | Always uses the dark theme. |
Your preference is saved locally on this device.
Delete your account
Go to Profile → Security (/profile/security).
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your data will be removed and cannot be recovered. Deletion is processed by the Loops team within 24 hours of your request.
- Click Delete account.
- In the confirmation panel, type
DELETEinto the text field. - Click Confirm deletion.
You are signed out immediately and redirected to the login page. Deletion is processed within 24 hours.
