Manage Your Subscription

Loops billing is account-scoped — one subscription covers every location you manage under your account.

Your trial period

Every new account gets a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. Your trial end date appears on the Billing page under Current plan, shown as "Trial ends in X days."

Three days before your trial ends, a banner appears at the top of every page linking to checkout. The banner is dismissible for the current session.

When your trial ends without a payment method on file, you lose access to the app. The Billing page remains accessible so you can subscribe and restore access.

Pricing

Loops charges per location per month in CAD using graduated pricing — each tier rate applies only to the locations that fall within that tier.

| Locations | Rate (CAD/month) | | --------- | ---------------- | | 1 | $79 | | 2–5 | $69 each | | 6–20 | $59 each | | 21–50 | $49 each | | 51–150 | $39 each | | 151+ | $29 each |

Example: 5 locations = (1 × $79) + (4 × $69) = $355/month. A 6th location adds $59, for $414/month.

Your live breakdown is visible on the Billing page under Usage summary.

Add a payment method

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Under Current plan, click Add payment method (shown when no card is on file during your trial).
  3. You are redirected to a Stripe-hosted checkout page. Enter your card details and confirm.
  4. After completing checkout, you land back on the Billing page. Your plan status updates to Active and the Current plan section shows your next billing date.

Your trial carries over — adding a card before your trial ends does not cut it short. Billing begins when the trial period expires.

Manage billing (invoices, update card, cancel)

Once a payment method is on file, the Add payment method button is replaced by Manage billing.

  1. Go to Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Manage billing, View invoices in portal, or Update in portal — all three open the billing portal.
  3. In the portal you can download invoice PDFs, update your card, or cancel your subscription.

Close the portal tab to return to Loops.

What happens when payment is past due

If a payment fails, your plan status changes to Past Due (red badge on the Billing page). You retain full access — the paywall does not activate for past-due accounts.

Update your payment card via Manage billing to resolve the outstanding charge. Once payment succeeds, your status returns to Active.

If your subscription is canceled (either by you or after unresolvable payment failure), the paywall activates on your next page load. You can resubscribe at any time from the Billing page by clicking Start subscription.
